MEET THE ADMISSIONS TEAM

  • President

Reese is a Graduate from the inaugural class of Table Rock U in 1992 – he has served in the role of President since inception and officially took the reigns in January of 2025 when the University officially launched. “We are pleased, and confident Reese is the right person to lead TRU into the first phase of the University”, said Board President Stephanie Grevillius.  “He possesses the qualifications and experience necessary to guarantee the university will be built on a strong foundation and thrive in the present and future.”  Learning many life lessons along the way while studying classes, he majored in Swimming and Water Skiing, instructed by Dr. Gee and served as caption of the first Water Ski team the university sponsored.  Also having taken building classes offered at Aunts Creek from Professor B. Allen, he learned quickly the value of hard work and creativity.   “Having grown up on the Table Rock campus most of my life, I look forward to leading the university to new heights and great achievements.”

  • Board of Governor since 1993

Stephanie is a graduate of TRU.  She was introduced to the University the summer of 1993 and graduated in October of that year after completing a full summer of studies.  SARG as she is referred to around the office, became Board President in April of 1995 and has been running a tight ship for 30 years.  During that time she has also served on several committees/boards in Southwest Missouri where she has always had others interest at heart.  She volunteered on the Community Partnership of the Ozarks board, Victim impact panel for probation and parole board of Greene County and currently serves as an elder board member of Restoration church.

In her earlier years, Stephanie was an avid hell raiser, dirt bike rider and state champion truck puller where she drove for Team Robertson; winning 5 state titles and many pulls throughout a given year over the span of a 12 year career.  Going as far as Whitewright Texas to bring home a title was not out of character for this team who loved competition.  “My greatest accomplishment during the time of competition was winning both Missouri and Arkansas state titles within the same year.”

  • Assistant Director of Admissions

Emma’s first semester on campus was in 2001 but due to disciplinary issues in the residence hall and being a slow learner of the back stroke, it took her longer to graduate than most but she was proficient and did manage a degree after several retakes on some classes.  She was voted most likely to end up on American Idol singing the TRU fight song or America’s funniest Home Videos.

She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions focusing on Transfer recruitment

Favorite thing about Table Rock University?  It is our way to showcase our little spot of heaven on earth and share it with the world.

Favorite spot on campus: Family Boat Dock on Aunts Creek, also known as the Transportation facility.  This is the first memories I have of the lake and fell in love with it, spending time in the water with Papa Allie.

Quirky Note: I grew up at Table Rock university and can barely swim.

  • Assistant Director of Admissions

Madelyn was introduced to Table Rock University in the early 2000’s, falling asleep on a boat has become a favorite pastime, until water gets gently cascaded over the bow awaking her abruptly.  She is a proficient dog paddler and enjoys summersaults on her wake board, or at least it looked like it.

She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions focusing on Transfer recruitment.  Her goal is to gain non-traditional students to the enrollment of the university and show them the advantages of TRU and all the campus has to offer, signing them up for degree studies.  “Table Rock campus has been a great place to grow up and looking forward to sharing life experiences with others and watching them grow in the study process”, said Madelyn.

Favorite thing about Table Rock University? It is a family run business based on faith and born out of a family dream.

Favorite spot on campus: Family Boat Dock on Aunts Creek, also known as the Transportation facility.  It is a great place to relax and watch the sun set

Quirky Note: I won’t eat tomatoes but I will eat ketchup.

OUR STORY

In 1992, the idea of Table Rock University was born in the Allen Grevillius family while spending time on the lake.  But this family-owned clothing company didn’t come to full institutional status until 2025.

Based on many life lessons you learn during summers (or anytime now) while at the Lake – you can acquire full degrees in life from experiences here.  Days on the water boating, water skiing, fishing, wave runners and paddle boarding, nights around a campfire, enjoying nature and sleeping in tents (sometimes resulting in sunburns and hang overs – proof God does have a sense of humor); all ways to enjoy everything the lake has to offer.

Table Rock University (being fictious in name) was born while enjoying all these life lessons acquired here.  As with all higher educational institutions, degree fields are sought after by all who attend.  Students of TRU have the degree offerings in: Fun, Sun and Leisure Studies.  All which can be sought after in a weekend or a lifetime.  Whatever your degree of choice – may you find as much happiness in time on the TRU campus as we have found during the lifetime of learning we have been blessed with while here.

Having grown up Table Rock, it is only fitting to try and give back to a community that has blessed us with time together as a family, dating my wife and raising two kids on the lake has provided memories we will share forever.

The TRU Foundation is the ultimate goals by 2028 to provide scholarships to high school seniors in Stone and Taney county, where it all started, wanting to advance their education opportunities through the B Allen and Doris J Grevillius scholarship fund.  Giving back to a community that has given me nothing but great experiences and a beautiful family to share it with is truly what TRU is all about!
